After 7 years in the
Pulp and Paper Industry and then 22 years in the Health Care Industry,
I joined the Seattle School District. Working for Seattle Schools
has been one of the best careers I've had, and I hope to be here
at Greenwood for quite some time.
I am married to a great
man, Jim, and have two sons, Jamie & Geoff. Our oldest Jamie
and his wife, Billie, live in Leesburg, Florida with their dog,
2 cats, and a bunny. Geoff, our youngest son, lives with my husband
and I in our home. Geoff work about three jobs during the year to
keep himself busy. I enjoy many crafts but my favorites are knitting,
cross-stitch, and embroidery. I also collect spoons from different
states and countries that many friends and co-workers have brought
me when they return from their trips. I was born in Ft. St. John,
British Columbia, Canada, and moved to the United States when I
was 6-1/2. I am proud to be a naturalized American citizen.
