I grew up in Nebraska,
until I was nine, then we moved to Anacortes, where most of my family
lives today. I went to school at Seattle Pacific University where
I got degrees in Business Administration and Psychology. Then I
moved to California and received my Masters at University of California,
Chico, in Counseling Psychology. I then became a Child and Family
Therapist for the next eight years. I wanted to work in schools
so I have been with Seattle Schools since 1992, Greenwood since
2003 and still love coming to school everyday.
I have six younger sisters, 11 nieces and nephews, and my daughter
Emma is a second grader.
When I'm not at Greenwood I love to remodel Airstreams, remodel
my house, garden, and take my dogs Paco and DJ to my parents farm
in Anacortes, where I love to play dominoes with my grandparents
who are both 100 years old.
I like to stay busy.
