After 7 years in the Pulp and Paper Industry and then 22 years in the Health Care Industry, I joined the Seattle School District and have been here at Greenwood for going on 12 years. Working for Seattle Schools has been one of the best careers I’ve had, and I hope to be here at Greenwood for quite some time.

I am married to a great man, Jim, have two sons, Jamie & Geoff. Our oldest Jamie lives with us in our home with his cat. Geoff, our youngest moved to Buffalo, New York about a year ago and seems to enjoy living in the Northeast part of the United States.

I enjoy many crafts but my favorites are knitting, cross-stitch, and embroidery. I also collect spoons from different states and countries that many friends and co-workers have brought me when they return from their trips. I was born in Ft. St. John, British Columbia, Canada, and moved to the United States with my family when I was 6-1/2 years old. I am now proud to be a naturalized American citizen.
