The Fund Drive
The Greenwood Elementary 2009/2010 Fund Drive is now over. I am pleased to report that thanks to several late, generous donations, we have surpassed our goal of $7000. The total for the year is $7534. Thanks very sincerely to all who donated to this most worthy cause this school year.
The families who put us over our goal are:

An Amazing Year for Fundraising
While there have been a budget crises throughout government - Greenwood Elementary PTA fundraising was a bright spot in the storm. Here is what we accomplished in direct $ contributions:
• Jog-a-thon - $20,211
• Bookfair - $3,203
• Auction - $66,962
• Fund Drive - $6,578
• Grants - $9,073
• Sales and Other - $6,289
Thank you to all the volunteers and community donors that made this possible, these funds will continued to be invested in our school over the next year - to benefit of every child. - PTA Board

You can still order pictures or a slideshow of your child in the Jog-a-thon! All proceeds from photo orders are being generously donated. Order by Kidmail or Paypal. Jog-a-thon
$18,721 has been collected for this year’s first fundraiser – that’s $3000 over our goal.
The PTA board would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the JAT committee chairs: Kim Dixon, Jared Van den Dyssel, Andrew Fitzpatrick, Grant Lindberg, Greg Musquiz and Donnie Underhill! A special thank you to the students who were inspired to get pledges, and to all the parents who donated their talents and/or time at the event. A successful event takes many people to make it all work, and we appreciate each and every one of you!!!
Greenwood kids can really run! There is nothing more inspiring than our kids working hard – and for a good cause. Every student takes pride in themselves and the school in this fun run.
Auction
Raised $66,000 - Thank you, Thank you, thank you everyone.!!
Spend an evening of dining, fun, entertainment, and fabulous items. You will find stunning art created by Greenwood students, services and products from our own neighborhood businesses and experience activities. In honor of the 100 year anniversary of Greenwood Elementary, we are inviting any alumni (21 and over) to join this year’s event.
