The Fund Drive is back!
Reminder - Order Your Jog-a-thon Pictures
You can still order pictures or a slideshow of your child in the Jog-a-thon! All proceeds from photo orders are being generously donated. Order by Kidmail or Paypal. Forms are available at http://www.greenwoodpta.org/resources_forms.html or call Marcy at 782-6722 for a form to be sent to you through Kidmail.
The Fund Drive On!
The last two weeks have seen a nice flow of donations for our fund drive, and we are approaching 2/3 of our goal. If you have donated, thank you for your generosity - and please consider donating again!
Our PTA is hard at work every day, and the fruits of our labors are enjoyed by every student at Greenwood. We pay the art teacher, buy books for the library, equipment for PE, and furnish some of the money for the tutors who help our kids. We administer the After School CLubs program, and we support families in need.
With our school's economic diversity comes an extra responsibility for those among us who can afford to be generous. Greenwood's population has a higher percentage of families in need than the other schools in North Seattle. If you can possibly contribute to our Fund Drive, 100% of the money will go to making your school community a richer, safer, more vibrant place. Send a check in to the front office, and put it in an envelope marked "PTA Fund Drive" - or donate online with Paypal - just press the "Donate" button at www.greenwoodpta.org.

Make a Gift
goal $7,000
A direct gift to the school goes a long way. Consider what you can give toward reaching our goal of $7,000. Donations early in the year are really appreciated, so we can plan a full year of musical and visual arts instruction, enriching activities (assemblies, field trips) or fulfilling emerging family and school support needs. A letter will be sent out in Fall with more information, but at anytime you can send a check to “Greenwood Elementary PTA” through the school office or ‘kid mail’ (your child’s school folder).

$18,721 has been collected for this year’s first fundraiser – that’s $3000 over our goal.
Greenwood kids can really run! There is nothing more inspiring than our kids working hard – and for a good cause. Every student takes pride in themselves and the school in this fun run.
Auction - April 10, 2010

Spend an evening of dining, fun, entertainment, and fabulous items. You will find stunning art created by Greenwood students, services and products from our own neighborhood businesses and experience activities. In honor of the 100 year anniversary of Greenwood Elementary, we are inviting any alumni (21 and over) to join this year’s event.
