Volunteering Opportunities

There are many types of volunteer needs at Greenwood for helper – one-time events or regular commitments. Volunteers make a tremendous difference - we welcome parents, extended family and neighbors to join our wonderful school community. Some of our regular needs includes:

  • Tell the Neighbors how great Greenwood Elementary is - Assist with School Tours! Greenwood Elementary will be hosting two additional school tours on Fri. March 12 from 10-11 a.m. And Tues. March 16 from 10-11 a.m. We need:
    • 4-5 people who can bring in store bought or home baked cookies, muffins, brownies, etc.
    • 1-2 people as Greeters by the main office from 9:45-10:05 a.m.
    • 4-6 people from 10-11 a.m. to guide small groups of parents around the school. The majority of families attending these tours will be future kindergarten families, so showing them the K classrooms, library, cafeteria, art room and gym will be main focus.
