The Golden Lions Hit New High Mark

Greenwood's entry in this year's district wide Global Reading Challenge March 17, the Golden Lions, were the winning-est team in Greenwood's history with the GRC program. Missing a chance to advance to the district finals by one question, the Golden Lions placed 3rd in their semi-final round. All students who participated in Global Reading Challenge -- there were 25 involved at Greenwood -- have much to be proud about, most importantly that they read up to 10 additional books, sometimes multiple times. Global Reading Challenge will begin anew next Fall for interested 4th and 5th grade students.
